Jon and Kate makes me so sad. Especially because the boys liked to watch all the kids, and now they point out Jon & Kate on the tabloid covers. I hate divorce.

I follow current events as well, although, I got a bit out of touch while Brad was deployed. You are so right about needing to know what is happening around this world of ours.

The Jon and Kate stuff is really sad. Now you can really see what might happen if you are in the public's eye for way to long. Something that really bugged me from Mondays episode is that Jon said that he was excited to move onto another chapter in his life. That just makes me so sad. I hate to see a marriage break up, especially now that it is world wide. I really do truly hope that they tried to work on their marriage before coming to this conclusion. I pray for them, I even had trouble sleeping on Monday night, it just makes me so sad.
Other news. I think that we should watch it, but make sure that we do not get obsessed with what is going on in the world. With the "news" I think that the end times are coming soon, indeed.

I agree we need to be aware of what is going on in the world our children will grow up in, even when it is scary to hear. I know so many people that say they won't watch the news because it is too depressing. I think it is more important than ever to know what is going on. I think that is why our election outcome turned out the way it did. No one knew what they were voting for because they had no idea of that guy's voting record. They just liked the idea of him.
