joy and pain

there is lots going on at our house this week.

i am going to REALLY date myself. i was actually thinking of the

song "joy and pain" today to describe the mood over here.

my college girls and i used to crank it up.

oh oh...and let me tell you...you tube has it all.

let's start with the pain.

we have something....somewhere in our house that is causing a stench.

it is making me MAD and ruining my Christmas spirit :(

on top of that...we have had no good news here. lots of delays.

the delays...more than anything..no matter how i distract myself....

are TOUGH. as i have stated before, my waiting skills are not good.

the Lord is teaching me...i know He is refining my faith.....

....and it is not pretty.

we also have to make some decisions before the new year.

to sum it up...we have a lot going through our minds.

THE JOY

there is some joy in pain and in trails...

i wish i could show you the whole picture of the updated girls...

some day you might be wishing we did not have a camera

when they get here...:)

however...i noticed something on the shelf in back of them that brought me

j.o.y

there is joy and peace in knowing that the Lord is with them

as He is also with us...as we wait.

there is joy in knowing and seeing how God has provided for us.

there is joy and peace in celebrating the miracle of Jesus.
